Parker has impressive size and good acceleration coveted in a carry-the-load type running back prospect. May need to be fed the ball often to take advantage of his physical tools and skill-set but really is a nice package for a pro-style offense and a team that puts an emphasis on downhill, power schemes. Tall with a longer, stronger frame that looks to have a ton of physical development left. Could potentially check in at the 225-pound range once he enters a fulltime college weight-training program. Can run high at times hindering balance but for the most part he knows when to lower the shoulder. Breaks a lot of initial contact with his combination of size and speed. Very physical and looks to finish each run. Has a good nose for finding the end zone and can fight for extra yards. He will surprise you with his top-end speed when he breaks free down the sideline. Tends to build speed but can break away once he gets his long frame going. However, he is not real elusive and his production will strictly come from his downhill power. We have concerns about his longer frame and tendency to run high. Durability could be an issue. Gets tripped up a lot on lower-body tackles. May struggle to adjust to the increased speed on defense; does not see or hit the cutback creases quickly. That said, Parker gets stronger as the game goes on and will need high-carries to be most productive. A guy who could really wear down a defense if he can stay healthy. Frame and range to potentially play linebacker.
