And Barbaro being the 1st horse in 30 YEARS to win the triple crown doesn't alter Horse racing history.... Just saying.
But back on your original point..
Maybe Bias not OD'ng conceivably alters the course of NBA and sports history dramatically(even though I think that is a bit of a stretch I will go with it), but him winning the Championship Series MVP at 46 is plain ridiculous. That WOULD NOT happen in any reality. Hell Jordan was a shell of himself at 40, so no way he would dominate a final at 46 and that is assuming that Len Bias would have turned out to be the best player in NBA history.
I really liked the attempt, but assuming it is 2009 in both places, it doesn't seem conceivable (I find it funny that I'm arguing that Bias winning the MVP at 46 is not conceivable in a thread were "alternate realities" are the main theme

One, a Triple Crown winner is not as significant as Michael Jordan theoretically having a rival throughout his playing career. Two, you are right about the age thing. Should have gone with a Hall of Fame announcement or something along those lines. That said, the Towers, Obama New White House, and Kennedy reference made me roll my eyes a bit but the Len Bias reference was just money.
