I think his work at SS is well worth it. He isn't going to be a masher out there, but who got benched for him? I don't think we lost a big bat. LaMahieu is a liability at SS, his range isn't close to Nola's and there is something to be said about pitching and defense. Considering we have two starters and a closer who are ground ball pitchers we need a vacuum at SS while LaMahieu fits nicely at 2B since we can keep Schimpf in the lineup in LF.
