That lil frickhead talked so much shite after we lost to Tenn...about RPI and SOS.

It's all he has.

Since he started talking smack, they've lost 9 of 15 SEC games.

They are now 1/2 game in front of Alabama for 4th in the SEC West (which is about right for the talent level of their team) and I believe they still play Ole Miss and Alabama. They will probably end up 4th in the West and be a borderline 2 seed in a regional.

They are batting .275 as a team. Two of their weekend starters have an ERA over 4.0. And the 3rd, the young guy who they talk up so much is 1-2 in conference play with a conference ERA of 4.23. And as a position player he's hitting an impressive .241 (.252 overall).

This is not a program that is on the brink of big things. This is a program that is playing a little bit over it's head. They showed respectably well for the first half of the season, but they are crumbling down the stretch as they face more and more of the SEC.

So, don't get so mad at Woopig pointing to the RPI and SOS. It's what he has to hang his hat on. It's a little humorous that he couldn't recognize that he'd be better off not coming here and talking smack to fans of a program like LSU.

But, that's kind of the point. These guys don't have much success to fall back on. They don't really know how all of this works. So, they are still feeling their way through this little bit of success they are having. And, it's why they are on here talking smack about RPI and SOS in March.

And he probably will. Of course that's kind of the point. Arkansas measures itself in how it competes against teams like LSU. LSU measures itself in how it competes for the NC. It's the difference between the two.
