This game is fricking done.

1 Cavs vs 4 Hawks - Cavs 4-2
2 C's vs 3 Magic - 4-2 Orlando

1 Lakers vs 5 Rockets - 4-2 Lakers
2 Nuggets vs 6 Mavs - 4-2 Nuggets

I think it will overall be a fairly competitive semifinals. Cavs/Hawks will be the most lopsided, though I think ATL will defend the homecourt fairly well. Celtics and Magic is most likely to go 7. Lakers and Rockets will be highly competitve because, IMO, Htown is the 3rd best team in the league. Nuggets/Mavs will be the most entertaining series. I can't really get a read on this series.

1 Cavs vs 4 Hawks - Cavs 4-1
2 C's vs 3 Magic - 4-3 Orlando

1 Lakers vs 5 Rockets - Not going to predict
2 Nuggets vs 6 Mavs - 4-3 Mavs

Cavs are going to destroy the Hawks. The East is garbage with the exception of the Lebrons. Celtics vs Magic could go either way but i'll say orlando because they are tired. Lakers vs Rockets, well i'm not predicting this one even though your's is probably the way I would go if I had a gun to my head. I'm holding out hope we can get this done though because like you said if I wern't a Rockets fan I would still say they are the 3rd best team in the NBA and are much closer to 2nd than cleveland is to first. Cle vs Hou would be a good series. Nuggets are not as good as their previous series would indicate. The Hornets were just that bad. Any team in the West would have beaten the Hornets in a 7 game series so i'm not hoping on the Nuggets Wagon just yet. I think this will be a very good series but both will hold HC through 6 and the Mavs steal game 7 in Denver.

Letting a crappy Philly team take you to 6 when you're suppose to be the top challenger to the Cavs in the East is in fact shitty.

There are about 12 teams in the NBA playoffs who would have beaten Philly though.

The East is garbage

If the East is garbage, and the East had a winning record vs. the Western confernce this year (231-219), what does that make the West?

Also note that the top teams in the West had a worse record vs. the East than vs. the West.

Lakers vs. West 44-8, vs. East 21-9
Nuggets vs. West 35-17, vs. East 19-11
Rockets vs. West 35-17, vs. East 18-12

A conference that has the Kings, Thunder, Clippers, etc.

If not for the Kings, what would the record look like? C'mon, anyone who honestly thinks the East is better is in denial. Just because our bottom 5 suck worse than your bottom 5 doesn't make up for the fact that our playoff teams are better, which at the end of the day, are the only teams that matter.

I don't need to. They beat the 76ers by double digits both times they played them during the regular season, finished with a better record, have a better coach, have higher quality players, etc.

That means that your shite teams are better than our shite teams. Take the 8 teams who are in the playoffs this year and the West has 153 wins against the east compared to 137 for the East against the West. After Phoenix there was a significant drop off the in West however in the East the drop off comes after Orlando. I would take the Jazz (8 seed) over the 4-8 in the East and quite possibly over the 2 and 3 with no KG with the Celtics and Orlando not looking all that impressive against Philly. For the playoffs the West is much deeper and harder to get through than the West.

Exact point I was making, just took me a while to get the numbers. The 136-356 record from GS-Sac makes the numbers a bit skewed
