Ahhh the Reveille. My friend worked on the sports page back in the 90's. The women's basketball team beat South Carolina and he ran the headline "Lady Tigers Down Cocks" and honestly didn't realize what he had done....he called Coach Gunter and apologized, and being the classy lady she was, she forgave him and laughed her arse off

This thread keeps getting better. You need to be careful covering South Carolina, though. A couple of years ago I was traveling listening to Hawthorne call the game, and he kept saying, "It's Smelley under center for the Gamecocks", "It's Smelley again under center for the Gamecocks". I'm sure he probably said something funny about Succup, too.
