Awesome story. Sometimes these Hollywood-style dreams actually come through. Imagine the odds of two guys 5-10 and under, making it from college to pros together.

belive the shelf on this really positve article was so short. It started to slide off the board in about an hour .

The Cubs opened the season in Houston earlier this month, and will play again in Houston next week (May 5-6), July 27-29, and Aug. 31, Sept. 1-2.

This article gave me goosebumps the whole time. I love the fact that they're still playing together and I can remember watching them turn double plays so quickly in their time together at LSU.

Just curious as to what the fan reaction was from the LSU ASTRO fans ? Did many of them temporarily switch to the Cubs or just root for
Theriot/Fontenot when they were involved !
I know it's a little harder to gauge differences in a home opener . The May series might show how the support pans out as far as increased attendance and as far as vocal
support !
By the time the July/Aug/Sept series rolls around I'm sure the Astros will promote heavily into the La. market. MONEY >>>>> Vocal Support !
