I need some help. I am a big NBA fan but I have never really had a favorite team. I usually just cheer for whoever and just enjoy watching the games. I decided I want to find a team and start rooting for them. I really don't want to pick a playoff team because I don't want to bandwagon. I was thinking about the Thunder because I like Durant. Any suggestions?

thunder are a good choice

they are going nowhere but up in the next few years

great young nucleus to build around

durant will be a top 5 player within 2 years

he is a physical freak

and westbrook has a ton of potential too

Yea and I like to watch Westbrook. I really don't want to jump on a team like Houston who is already in the playoffs.

frick that man go with whatever team you like, who gives a shite if someone thinks it is 'bandwagon'. Nobody fell out the sack being hardcore fans of a team.

Just imagine if the Thunder add Blake Griffin. They would be a good choice, plus they're fairly close to Shreveport.

Yea that is what I am thinking. I actually just moved to Houston. I listen to the Calvin Murphy show sometimes, is it just me or is he a complete dick?

Who is your favorite player currently? If you have one, pick that team. If not, pick a team with LSU players.

Sonics. Shaun Kemp and Gary Payton are unstoppable together.

I know, when they were about to steal Tyson from the Hornets I thought that was a great move. I know some don't like Tyson, but he is a legit 7 foot defender and rebounder.

Calvin was a fan favorite when he did the Rockets broadcasts. I've listened to his show too, and he does come off that way. He pissed off Steve Francis in an interview during the last time I listened.

Of course, you may know the reason why Murphy was fired from the broadcast team. If the accusations were true, it's not a great endorsement for his character.

I used to like players more than teams....there isn't anything wrong with that. I've never liked LA or Boston but some of the players on those teams I really enjoyed watching play
