twin towers underneath.

Kobe's just a bystander at this point.

I don't think he'll play hard until they play Houston.

Lakers are 14/16 right now from the field.

He'll press in the second half in spots (10 point in a blink).

Lakers have to watch out for the complacency.

41 points in a quarter and 35 of them were within 10 feet of the basket.

Bad Utah defense or indefensible Laker O?

More so offense, but the Jazz are just terrible on the road. Lakers won't do this against Htown, that's for sure.

Lamar is 5/5 with 12 points so far. You have, IMO, a top 20 type TALENT with playoff experience coming off the bench. That's huge.

Is Shannon Brown gonna make Farmar expendable?

Farmar is gimpy but full of upside potential.

I think Brown makes Vujacic expendable. Brown can play both guard positions, shown an outside touch, and can play defense.

I don't know what's up with Vujacic, he's never taken that next step. He seems to play too fast.

Who knows. Do you know what Farmar's contract looks like? I can't remember currently.

I personally like Brown more because of his size, especially in a series like this. My boy Fish isn't getting younger either, so...

Farmer got raped by Deron Williams in the playoffs last season. Brown is a much better defender and if he is hitting his shots, he is a GREAT backup PG.

The only thing is that Farmar is a more refined offensive player. He has regressed this year in all aspects of his game though.

ETA:

Pau 13
Lamar 12
Ariza 10
Bynum 10
Bryant 8

I think Farmar's rookie deal has another year or so on it. It actually should go thru '11 if he plays it out the full 5 years, but most guys get an extension that pays em more starting in year 5. Farmar looked like he was prob gonna be getting his extension this summer, but not anymore. Fish's deal should only be for another year.

when Farmar goes on his hot steaks he is amazing, but he has been very streaky this season. As long as Brown is hitting his shots, no way should Farmar get in over him.

With this talent on this team how can it not be seen as anything but a colossal choke if they don't win the championship?

Well they do get very lackadaisical at times. It's almost a guarantee every game. I can't even remember how many times they had a big lead and let the other team go on a run to close the gap. Very talented, but if they do that against the Cavs they will lose.

I would give Fisher a one year deal. He had a bit of the injury bug this year, give hime a year to prove it was the injuries that disrupted his game.

It would be a choke for either L.A. or Cleveland IMO. The Lakers have more scoring power for sure, but the Cavs have more defensive depth. When people debate the Cavs and Lakers, they give our cast the edge because of the firepower we have, but the Cavs have some stout fricking defenders in their next five.

I will be honest, I don't watch that much sports commentary on the NBA, but the majority of what I have seen lately has been how Lebron would be considered a choke artist if the Cavs don't win it all this year. I'm sure I've just missed them saying the same about Kobe.
