Didn't come ready to play. I guess they took this too lightly and wasn't prepared.

Rested some of our usual starters, and our bats were no where to be found. Nicholls used 8 pitchers against us.

Recap
1. Rested 5 starters tonight
2. Didn't hit well at all for several innings getting just 1 run early on
3. Nicholls used 8 pitchers, starter went 2, brought out their #1 guy to close
4. Started to put starters in the game too late and none of them got a hit (that got put in)
We finished with 1 run on 4 hits.

Coach got cocky and thought our subs were great because he recruited them. Always start your best and let the subs finish the game. I dont get it. He looked like Smoke tonight in the dugout, just kinda sittin around not caring.

I'll admit, losing to these crappy teams during the midweek gets a little annoying after awhile. But as long as we sweep the vols, its all gravy.
Oh and as long as we win the spring game too.

Yea, who cares? It's only a loss to a sub 230 RPI team when we were sitting at #12 already.

And its easy to find people who don't realize RPI in baseball =/= to RPI in basketball. It is one of many factors that are taken into account and this loss matter absolutely zero in the overall outcome of the season. Which is why coach PM wasn't going ballistic in the dugout like you all want him to be. It just doesn't matter all that much. An off night for a lot of our starters is much more important.
These people are the same ones that would bitch if one of our starters got injured during one of these games.
