I could just about guarantee the level of food and service will not live up to the high falutin name. Why didn't they just go with Cancun Beachbar Bistro?

I went my freshman year of college for valentine's day. It was alright food for the price. Cute atmosphere for V-day. I haven't gone back, but that type of dining isn't conducive for a college student's wallet.

I wasn't blown away.

The steaks are pretty good. I tried odering lamb there a couple of time and it was probably the worst lamb I've ever had (the 2nd time I ordered it was prepared differently so I gave it a try: got fooled twice). If you're using money, go to Chris' or Flemmings. If you're using casino pts, then it's pretty good.

The Steak I had was not bad. I asked the waitor how good the grill-guy was. He was clueless. So I ordered my 10-ounce Filet cooked rare. It came out a perfect mid-rare. The crab cakes had way too much breading/ not enough crab. Risotto was very delicous (perfectly prepared) but the Asparagus was way over cooked and the 'orange flavoed hollandaise' was uninspired!

Like I had mentioned in a previous post. My opinon for the best steak in town is the newly improved Primo's on Bluebonnet. Best steak in town for 20 bucks is the Fileto Florentine at Carraba's. The Crazy Javier at Superior is a good steak bargain too!

Steaks that I would avoid in Baton Rouge: any of the Steaks at Bistro Byronz, T.J. Ribs, steak & eggs at (w)affle house, and the steak at the Sporting News Grill.
