Why are we even bringing this up, why not look for the good and possible national championship we could bring home, instead of going and dwelling on another possibly sour season

So if we play like shite and attendeance starts to go it shuldnt be considered?
College Sports are what have you done for me lately....I, for one, will not want us to just say "It's OK, theres always next year" if Miles and LSU tank this year.

We wont play like shite, our defense has been picking up the intensity in practice.. They will carry this team, but its not like we dont have tons of weapons on offense.

It depends if those losses are by 20 or more. If the injury bug bites and we're playing with some young linemen and qb then it could be a long year. I'd rather not see it, but I like Miles.

If that happened, I think he would have to go to a BCS Bowl the following year, or he'd be gone.
In fact, if does not make a BCS Bowl this year, he will start to feel some heat.

yea so leave it behind you. Why bring it up before were even in football season. Bring it up if it appears to be the case! not now when were still in spring practice and all is going well. Miles had one bad season, and it wasnt mostly his falt. I put some balme on him but only like 20-25%. Just look at the good, were starting in the preseason top ten, and have a legit shot to make a run for the SEC and possibly BCS championships!
You were probably one of those people who wanted Miles fired before the chick-fil-a/peach bowl.

How we lose(and play overall) is much more important that the number of losses we have. If we lose a few hard-fought SEC games 21-20 or something, I won't be mad.

I can't see us having a year like last year again this time around. Our defense will not be led by a two-headed experiment. Instead, we have an SEC-proven top DC in Chavis.

I like Miles. Think he's a great coach. But he is the boss and he is 100% responsible for the won-loss record.
