Are there any additional fees invloved in playing online on a PS3. Will it tie into my current internet service at home? I have been waiting to get a PS3 and Best Buy is offering MLB: The Show for free with the purchse of a console. I just want to make sure I do not get suprised by any additional fees.

free, uses existing internet connection. Wi-fi ready. Wish I had one instead of my 360. Enjoy the blue-ray, because I can't.

playing online games on the playstation network is 100% free. No hidden fees or subscriptions. A great experience considering the fact that it costs NOTHING.

It can either use your internet connection via the ethernet port (router, direct cable/dsl modem) or use the built-in WiFi connection in the ps3 to connect to your existing wireless network.

Much like PC online gaming (sans MMORPGs like WOW)

Ive always wondered why people complain about the price of PS3 when it offers free online play and a blu ray player.....

But you will be able to eventually buy a blu-ray add on and xbox live is AMAZING!

Honestly that's the only thing I've heard. I dunno what the diff between live and ps3 online is.
