agreed about ULL pitcher closing out the game but if the errors would not have been made there would not have been a 9th inning to close. Point is in our 3 losses we have given away runs. Can't do that and expect to win when the other team makes you earn every run you get.

I am not taking anything away from ULL, they played a good game and jumped on us early and answered in a big way after LSU tied the game. They deserved to win, but fact of the matter is LSU gave them 2 runs.

Thats what I'm trying to figure out. Was he waved on to go to 2nd by the coach or was it his decision?

We are not beating many teams with our pitching, and baseball is all about pitching.

However, they have beat themselves 3 times.

So, they're like most posters on here who often beat themselves

This. Since the big bat/meathead era ended most of the NC winners have done it with pitching and D. Y'all need to get that straightened out, no doubt about it looking at the runs given up. This comes from an outside, casual LSU baseball fan.

Please don't make excuses for the team.We are starting to see that the pitching staff is not that good.
