Ole Miss next season? Yes, I know they have a decent coach now, but this is still Ole Miss. There is no doubt in my mind that we will win this game. They will not win 2 in a row against us, plus we will be a MUCH better team than we were this past season. Just my opinion.

Did you honestly believe they would beat us last year?

If that's the case, should we worry about Arkansas too?

Next year I dont think you can expect any of the teams, outside of Florida, to beat us. Ole Miss probably has the next best chance, but all of the powers from last year are loosing too many starters. We will see though.

yea, they probably have the "best" chance outside FL, but I see us having a great year. Our offensive weapons we have will be ridiculous. And if Crowton works those weapons the way I think he will.....it will be VERY tough to beat us

They should have a good team, led by one of the SEC's best QBs. They're coming off a good season, and they're prolly pretty confident about their ability to compete with anyone. They're also playing at home in front of a crowd that's as anti-LSU as they come. And while Nutt is IMHO a sort of up-and-down coach, when he's on he can do the David-and-Goliath act as well as any HC. Put all those things together, and you have to conclude that our game with OM should be pretty tough. On the other hand, I think the Tiger team that goes into Oxford next season will be a different and better team than the '08 model. It'll be a helluva game.

I agree we will beat them. I felt strong enough that they would beat us last year to win some money. It's true money can't buy you love as I was still upset.

That's pretty much where I am too. I think they will be very competive next year. And, I certainly think we'll be much better. But, last year they didn't beat us with "smoke and mirrors". They were just the better football team. And, they beat Florida. As for who wins, I'm going to have to wait a while before I could make an intelligent guess.

Ole Miss was a force to be reckoned with by the end of last season. They did not have a bigtime dropoff in talent with graduation. I think there is a resonably good chance they will be as good, if not better, than last year. I suspect LSU will be markedly improved next year, on both sides of the ball. I think LSU stands, even at this point, a pretty decent chance of defeating OM at home next year, but I'm definitely not putting this one in the W column any time soon. KC.

When Ole Miss beat us last year we were not a good team at that point. The team moral was at the lowest in years and the players felt they were playing for nothing. That happens like Texas Tech in thier bowl game. Also to them it is the biggest game of the year.
