You think any other SEC teams or any team knows Jay likes to run this? Not only did they burn you in the first with it when you had the starter on the ropes and cost yourself a huge inning. They even tried it again later in the game and Elliot just caught the ball and allowed the runner to go to 2nd.
But what about Jay trying to bunt Dardar, trying to bunt Brown. He over manages every single game more times than not it seems to not work. He doesn’t let his players hit and go for a big inning he’s content with 1 run. That has to mentally wear on these kids up batting.
Don’t get me wrong this team made tons of mistakes as normal. And didn’t get hits with people on but the coach did this team zero favors. That’s not even talking about the shifts. The subs etc etc etc

Have you even watched LSU the last couple of years?

They struck out a combined 6 times tonight.
Theh should have bunted, and they should have given better effort to get the ball down. It cost us two runs with them not getting their bunts down.
Ole Miss tried one bunt, executed, and scored a run.

That was my point numb nuts. He runs it ad nauseam. The last 2 times he’s ran it, it didn’t work.

It really looked like they stopped a runner at first (Braun I think) when he should have had a double…because they wanted 1st and 3rd to intentionally set this up. I hope I saw that wrong.

You don’t think when your coach makes you try to bunt and now you’re down in the count because maybe you can’t bunt which is why your coach shouldn’t make you try to bunt. Now you’re trying to bat with 2 strikes and you never had a chance to swing the bat and now it’s crazy hard . DF
