Season 2 released a couple of days ago. It's an anthology, a completely new story.
I just finished it. It took me a little time to warm up to this cast and the story, but the intensity and craziness built up slowly, and I eventually got invested in wondering who might come out on top. Of course it's one of those stories where you're not rooting for anyone because they all kind of suck. And then a third party enters the feud and shite gets serious.
In the end I was surprised by who made the decisive move. I think this season will do well enough to put in an order for a Season 3.
Note that there is a very classic Korean story here, highlighting class differences (but in an American setting here) and the power of the ruling class in Korea.
It's been a long time since I watched Season 1. I hardly remember any of it, so I will probably give it a rewatch.

Finished season 2 last night. Not as good a season 1, but still worth watching. I do think season 2 landed the ending a bit better than the first season though.

I think I may have enjoyed Season 2 more than Season 1. As with the first season, great directing and acting all around. I liked how multi-faceted the characters were. No one was all good or all bad.
