How to fix school systems across the country

1. Revamp and slash EBT, section 8, ssi, and all entitlements. Send a message to our youth that there IS NO FREE RIDE, and they’re GOING TO WORK!
2. Ramp up all punishments for lawbreakers, including juveniles. For habitual ones, lock em up and throw away the key. 3 strikes equals life. Make actions have consequences again, and show that crime is not a viable career choice.
3. Create “permanent alternative schools” in each district. When students have continually made the conscious decision to not abide by the policies or make a genuine effort (let’s say 15 referrals or failing 4 or more classes for two grading periods), then ship them out! They’ll remain at their new site until they graduate, quit, become incarcerated, or die. Prioritize the educational experience of the 90% who are doing the right thing.
4. Understand this will take a generation or two to take root, just stay the course.

Abolish the DOE. Like, actually do it. Send notice to all staff to clear out their offices, liquidate the assets by auctioning it off to the private sector and release education back to the states and the people.

If you drop out, you get deported.

I have been thinking and saying #1 for many years.
Too many students don't value education because they just plan to live like their mothers.
