I have a Google business page set up, I have entered my business location address,
Name etc…it shows on the map.

But when I try to add it as a location on an Instagram or facebook post it will not pick
up the name, address or even the other shops in the small shopping center.

Everything tells me it takes Meta a few
Days to a week to actually make it work but this has been over a month.

Can anyone tell me how to make this work or point me to someone that can?

Free loaf of sourdough to anyone who can solve this issue for me.

Thanks.

To link your business on Google Maps (Google Business Profile) to social media, sign in to your Google Business Profile Manager, click Edit Profile, then select Contact > Social Profiles. Choose your platform (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.), enter the URL, and click Save. You can add one link per site to enhance credibility.
Steps to Add Social Media Links:

• Access Profile: Go to your Google Business Profile (search for "my business" on Google or use the app).
• Edit Profile: Click Edit Profile and navigate to the Contact section.
• Add Social Profiles: Select the Social profiles option.
• Add Links: Click "Add Social profile," choose the platform from the dropdown (e.g., YouTube, TikTok, Twitter), and paste your profile URL.
• Save: Click Save to apply the changes.

Key Notes & Tips:

• Supported Platforms: Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Pinterest, TikTok, X (formerly Twitter), and YouTube.
• Limitations: You can only add one link per social media platform.
• Alternative Method: On mobile, you can use the Google Maps app.
• Updating/Editing: If you need to change a link, follow the same steps and click the edit icon next to the existing link.
• Verification: It may take some time for the links to appear on your public listing after saving.

Thank you. But I’ve done this completely and it has been about a month.

It shows up on Google Maps if you google the bakery.

But what it doesn’t do is when I request location in a facebook or Instagram post to use when posting about the bakery it doesn’t show it. And if I search it doesn’t even show the address.

I’ve seen where Meta takes a week or so to acknowledge but this has been at least a month.

Any idea how to make it accept the location? Also if I try the location it doesn’t allow me to search for it. No search feature.
