There are two new Pacific War alt history threads:
The first one is Fearless Leader's new Third Version of his Wake Island thread that Jim Rockford referred to in 2014.
Third revision of Wake Island alt history thread
The second is a new thread from Zheng He about a Pearl Harbor attack that hits somewhat alerted US forces. He's up to Wake Island right now.

Thanks. I had forgotten all about this.
That reminds me of a British comedy-drama series from the 1990s called Goodnight Sweetheart about a guy who accidentally discovers he can time travel back and forth between his present day and WWII era. In one of the episodes he gets Churchill to convince Roosevelt to have the carriers at sea on Dec 7.
Not a bad show, good mix of fish out of water stuff and meddling in historic events. It ran sick seasons and by the end they were humming out of ideas, but the first 3-4 seasons were entertaining.
