Spin off - Guilt Trip is single handily keeping metal alive.

That's modern metalcore, heavily influenced by nu-metal. 20 years ago, you'd get laughed at for calling a metalcore band metal. Just look at how long it took Between the Buried and Me and Every Time I Die to outrun the subgenre label, even though they'd long evolved past simple metalcore (especially BtBaM).

I would take Spiritbox over this, even though they're committed to that annoying djent sound. Heriot is a current and very good UK metalcore band, though their sound has a distinct sludge influence.

I will take Guilt Trip over Sleep Token, though.
