Curious as to how Troon is doing managing Le Triomphe these days. Any members have insight on whether or not they are following through with installing the pool that was mentioned in a previous thread?

Also, typically when Troon takes over it comes with significant cost increases. What are the current initiation and monthly fees looking like?

Everything is great so far. They have really done a great job of putting money back into the course. New Carts, New fencing, Eliminating unnecessary trees that was causing non-growth in some fairways and secondary roughs. I have no complaints. They also paid real close attention to the watering schedule and amount of water specifically coming from the sprinkler systems. Apparently the nozzles were wide open and was over saturating the greens/fairways in some parts. Have also improved some drainage areas.

Played with my dad last weekend.

Greens are as good as you will find in the state and the place is packed now.

I think by far the biggest improvement remains that they canned Dawna.

In about 3 years your going to wonder where the water is that suppose to make the grass green. Then for the next 2 years they will take every bit of money out of course for profit and when its all done the place will look like shite.

They’re managing LT, but they don’t own it. I would imagine that, if what you predict happens, they will be shown the door.

Everything I’ve heard from members has been very complimentary.

Fantastic. The condition of the greens rival anything in the state right now.

Weird to think it would ever be this good a few years back

TF are you even talking about?

I’m typically not a big corporate takeover fan, but Troon has done an amazing job.
