Nature is amazing

A few years ago this tree in my backyard was dead, and now it is flourishing. You can see the bottom part that was basically a left over stump of the old tree that I was going to cut down eventually. Glad I didn't.

I have learned never to count plants out. I have seen them come back from being all but dead. I typically wait an entire growing season before cutting any woody plant.
