I’m not sure why people are downvoting this. The US needs either an Italy win or for Mexico to score 5+ runs. What you said is exactly right. Nola either needs to shut them down completely to help ensure an Italy win or he needs to give up 5+ runs. The last thing they need is a 3-2 or 4-3 type game in Mexico’s favor.
