why is this lady still the head of DHS? 172 million dollar no bid contract to a company started 8 days before the contract was signed. I thought only democrats did that type of thing.

Who do you think would be doing a better job than her right now? She single handling got millions of people to self deport because of her ad campaign. Also, you are a dumbass if you think Noem is actually the one calling the shots. She is just the spokesperson and she does an incredible job at it

I love her. She's hot and she makes moonbats melt.

I saw Foghorn Leghorn performing at yesterday’s Noem hearing too. Senators and Congressmen and women (I don’t have a biology degree) who are offended about this amount of money are disingenuous at best. $200 million represents 0.01% of the annual DEFICIT and much less than that compared to the annual budget. Save your crocodile tears. Until those bastards reign in spending, they should just STFU.

so your ok with republicans handing out contracts to friends and GOP operatives? Holman runs circles around her. The lady put a bed in a plane and claims its for work. its just
at this point.

Who is the friend they gave the contract to?

No cut on Noem but there are many retired generals and colonels that could do this job well including me. I’d have refugee camps on Mexican side of border and Mexico would pay for it.

As of late 2025, Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem is facing calls for a federal investigation regarding accusations that she steered a $220 million DHS advertising contract to "The Strategy Group," a firm with close personal and professional ties to her, including her top aide, Corey Lewandowski, and the spouse of a senior advisor.
P
Key Allegations and Details:
The Contract: The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) awarded a large, taxpayer-funded ad campaign contract to The Strategy Group, a firm with strong links to Noem's previous campaigns.
Suspicious Ties: The Strategy Group’s CEO is married to Tricia McLaughlin, who runs the DHS Office of Public Affairs. Furthermore, the firm paid a former Noem aide, Madison Sheahan, up to $25,000 for "consulting".
Alleged Intervention: Reports suggest Noem quietly intervened to ensure the contract was secured.
Investigation Calls: Congressional Democrats and senators have called for investigations, alleging "cronyism" and that Noem is "lining your friends' pockets at the taxpayer's expense".

I don't care what they do as long as we aren't getting attacked on our soil everyday and we are getting these people out of our country. So far she has been pretty solid.
Ok, that's fair but Tom Homan is currently the Border Czar and not available.
The fricking hypocrisy on this website is astonishing
You are an LSU fan right? WHY? After all of these scandals, how could you possibly still support that university??
LSU has faced major scandals in recent years, primarily involving the football and men's basketball programs. Key issues included a systematic failure to handle sexual misconduct allegations under Les Miles and Ed Orgeron, and NCAA violations leading to the firing of basketball coach Will Wade. These, along with Orgeron's poor performance post-2019, resulted in a toxic culture, with Orgeron fired in 2021 and Wade in 2022.
Key LSU Coach Scandals and Investigations
Football - Ed Orgeron (2020-2021): Following a national championship, the program devolved due to allegations that Orgeron and others ignored or failed to report sexual assault accusations against players, including running back Derrius Guice. Other issues included a fractured locker room, poor on-field performance, and allegations of improper contact with recruits.
Football - Les Miles (2013-2016): An investigation revealed that former athletic director Joe Alleva recommended firing Miles in 2013 due to inappropriate behavior with student workers, including accusations of texting and being alone with them.
Men's Basketball - Will Wade (2017-2022): Wade was fired in March 2022 after the NCAA accused him of major violations, including paying recruits (up to ), using hush money, and obstructing investigations.
Title IX Scandals: A 2021 report revealed a "systemic failure" within the athletics department to properly address sexual misconduct, resulting in the resignation of former LSU president F. King Alexander.
NCAA Violations: The football program was hit with sanctions, including a bowl ban and loss of scholarships, due to improper payments from a booster to players' families.

I thought you said it was an 8 day old company. Yoho became CEO of the strategy group in 2013.
Posted on 3/4/26 at 3:16 pm to BBONDS25
the contract was split between 2 companies one formed 8 days before the contract was handed out.

you don't want to hear my opinion on college sports and scandals. I think Baylor should have gotten the death penalty under art briles. I think what LSU swept under the rug is disgusting. I am an LSU football fan, i didn't attend LSU but my wife did. I am a fan of football and LSU is in my back yard.
