What would the stock markets look like if options and shorting weren't a thing?

There would be less liquidity.

If you had to get rid of both, it would be less volatility and liquidity.

If we just removed shorting, less market manipulation. There would still be market manipulation, just to a lesser extent since there would be no money to be paid going down, just buying low and selling high.

Shorters are little turds of people, but then again I play the Don't Come all the time in craps. I am a turd as well
