We are headed to Oahu Mid March arriving on a Wed. Was thinking of trying to do Pearl Harbor either that Thursday morning or Sunday morning. Im thinking Thursday since we will probably be up early. Staying in Ko Olina area, so only issue might be traffic.

You absolutely cannot go to Hawaii without visiting Pearl Harbor, it would be a great disservice to the men who died there

I stayed in Ko Olina. From what I remember took about 30-40 minutes to get there. I went on a Saturday so that may have cut down traffic. I did the Arizona memorial then the Missouri. For the Missouri you have to catch a bus to the opposite side of the harbor and may have to wait awhile for the bus. Had a 9:00am boat to the Arizona. By the time we did both the Arizona and Missouri (we also had lunch) it was 3:30 and we decided to head back to Ko Olina. There is a lot more to do, just letting you know to try and help you plan your day.

Thanks. I'll be going in 2027. My daughter is getting married in Hawaii. Been on my bucket list a long time.

Just go..from the museums to still seeing the oil patches to knowing that sailors are entombed in the USS Arizona..if that doesn't give you chills and move your emotions nothing will.
