With the new NIL rules and revenue sharing in 2026, is Bayou Traditions still going to be a thing? Do I just donate more to TAF instead? Also, any one here join The Oaks? If so, any benefit to it beyond just donating that amount to TAF other than they publish your name? Thanks for any info.

My grandson says Bayou Tratitions is for high school kids who we want to stay committed. Kids have to pay it back if they end up not coming to BR.

TAF is for current programs.

Rev Share is the bucket from which the school pays the current players.

The Oaks Society is awesome. Great events (like club seating for Spring game, cocktail party with the coaches in May and other perks), away game parties/events, etc. Bayou Traditions doesn't exist any more. TAF handles NIL contributions and funding. Minimum investment for Oaks is $5,000/year with a 5 year commitment (a $25k commitment over 5 years). There are higher levels that allow you to travel with the football team on away games for one game, etc. Contact TAF, get assigned a TAF Development Officer and your LSU experience will be off the charts (and you will be glad that you are supporting LSU athletics). You will not be disappointed.

Depends on the $ level at which you join. The biggest benefit is accelerated priority points that you accrue….generally 5 or 6 points per $K of donation. Also, you get to specify whether your donation goes to scholarships or capital projects.

Donation levels

Most people that are members of the oaks have seats in the stadium club. If you donate enough, you can even get a national championship ring if they win one!

I've considered the Oaks. You lock into 5 year contracts, with the minimum of 5k per year x 5 years. Benefits based on contributions tiers. The points are good though. But it is a commitment.
