Looking at buying a small handheld HVLP sprayer for small projects, cabinet doors, etc. always have a project going and don’t want to really bust out the big graco for it.

Would prefer cordless on the Ryobi 18v or Dewalt 20v platform but not against a corded model.

Any recs are greatly appreciated.

Not really HVLP tools but Graco Ultra QuickShot or TC Pro Cordless, both run on Dewalt 20V batteries. I have a TC Pro and it's been pretty solid for the painting projects I usually tackle, nice not having to thin paint, just strain it into the disposable cup, fast prime, not much cleanup.

I have multiple sprayers - some airless, some air.

Without breaking the bank, I'd go for a Wagner. I have their older 150 which isn't made anymore and it gets the job done. I also have a Graco b/c I build big things that sometimes require a lot of paint, but they are on the pricier side.

Just finished staining/weatherproofing my fence with the Wagner and it still purrs years later. Also bought a HVLP Husky but I'm not a fan of it as it sputters even when thinned.

Neighbor has this one I borrowed to spray shiplap. I was surprised how well it actually worked.
