State Rep. Paula "Pelosi" Davis is stepping down - anyone know why?

State Rep. Paula Davis is resigning from the House next month, the Baton Rouge Republican announced Tuesday night.
Davis didn’t give an explanation for her move in a letter to House Speaker.
I never could understand why the mostly conservative voters in her district voted for this woman in the first place other, than she was an attractive woman. She has always supported high taxes and bad government.
Not a fan - just saying.
Anyone know why she quitting?

She got bills passed that benefitted her husband's weed business and got the frick out.

Paula is not the most conservative member of the legislature but it could've been MUCH worse.

Google "Good Day Farms Legislation". Her husband, John Davis, is one of the owners. They basically have a monopoly on the medical marijuana industry in Louisiana.
