I’m thinking of installing a sofhold magnet under my steering column or center console. Does anyone use this in their vehicle that may have any reviews or feedback?

I wouldn't trust a magnet. If you get in a wreck, the gun is going to go flying.
If I HAD to have a gun under my console, I'd get a safriland ALS holster, put a QD mount fork on it, and screw the QD mount to the steering column. That is extremely easy and quick to access the pistol yet 100% secure - it isn't going to come out unless you want it to.
