I always go the download route... The Switch cartridges are TINY and very easy to lose, a dog to eat, etc...

The game is Not on the card. It is just a key to download the game to the machine.
Just buy the download.
How it works
The card itself is a key to activate the download and is not the game cartridge.
Inserting the card triggers a download of the full game from the internet, which can be a large file (e.g., 55.3 GB or more) and take a significant amount of time depending on your internet speed.
Once downloaded, you will need the card to play the game, but it will work offline.
Just buy the download.
