This whole thing blows up in the Rebels face this week

No way this will be kept under wraps another week. It’ll be common knowledge this weekend that Kiffin is on his way to LSU and there isn’t much Ole Miss can do about it.

Has he actually signed the contract yet though? Nobody knows that and unless he has, this can and probably will go sideways this coming week.

He is under contract, so do not think he can legally sign another one yet. When the season ends, the two sides (Ole Miss and LSU) have to go over the buyout section and money paid to release him for the Ole Miss contract. He can then sign with LSU.
If Lane leaves before 12/31/2025 somebody owes us $4 million, whether it be Lane or LSU.
