I am pretty sure no one is picking up Shaq's bajillion dollar contract, and I don't think Chandler is going to get a player like Amare either.

why not?
shaq: (1) is playing really well and (2) that contract expires after next year, so it's a valuable asset

then the hornets would let marion's deal expire in order to save money
