there are up anc coming coaches that are far better choices for success and longevity at LSU.
Saban was not a BIG NAME coach when LSU hired him. LSU had just beat his Mich St team in the Independence Bowl, and nobody even knew his name. Fortunately, we had an AD that identified and went after excellence and not a NAME coach. Except for the Miami NFL itch he had, LSU would have been the dominant team in college football this century.
My choice to be the next Saban if there will ever be one, is Alex Golesh.
Check him out.....he checks all the boxes LSU needs. Step up Skip and help LSU out , again.

That's how we got BK, so hopefully we learned our lesson.

Young hotshot can't ask for a 10 year contract.

I want Kiffin. I truly beleive he would be a great hire and absolutely kill it here with all of the resources we have. But what do I know? I'm just a poster on TD lol

LSU AD SW only likes big-name coaches, JF at A&M, BK, JJ & KM at LSU. If LSU and boosters want to remove SW from the coaching search then up-and-coming coaches or coordinators might have a chance. If LSU can't get Kiffin then Sumrall, Golesh, or coordinators Schumann, Stein would be my choices.
