DFW SEVERE weather Thread

Massive line moving into area north to south. One tornado already confirmed in this line back west. Lots of lightning ahead and during storms.

Expect heavy winds moving into Arlington.

Some rotation SW of Ft Worth moving NE.

60 mph winds expected in some areas ahead of storm.

Tornado radar spotted in Benbrook moving east

Tornado radar spotted going through Edgecliff Village, heading toward Forest Hill & Arlington.

Odd time of year for a storm system like this. Usually it’s the spring time when you see this type of storm system.

We get them in the fall, too, when fronts are moving through.

Radar on,y updating every 5 minutes right now, too. Tight area of circulation, tornado on the ground south Ft Worth, crossing i35W.

Heavily populated area. Heading toward Arlington.

Still NO TORNADO WARNING ISSUED. What is happening right now?

Where is NWS right now?

Just got severe storm warning from other NWS office. Still nothing out of Ft Worth NWS

Looked like 2 or 3 possible tornadoes on the radar. Seek shelter if you’re in dfw area
