I will admit it, I was excited about the Kelly announcement and bought in to never had the stallions at ND. I thought he was a pompous arse at ND when we played them but had the team up for the challenge. Was excited about our Tigers being coached up, and not just told to run fast hit hard like the Miles era teams seemed to be built around.

After 2021 season I really thought we were headed to Hallman hell. A decade of wandering the wilderness until we lucked out with someone. Here is a guy, with the most wins in the game, taking the helm in BR. And if two guys with half a brain could win here, what might HE be able to do?

I don’t know what happens behind closed doors— does he not connect with players? Is he too stubborn or cranky or lazy as the years advance? I still maintain at one time he was a decent coach— but at some point his ability to coached transitioned from present tense to past tense.

This product on the field is not worth 10m / year. He will not win a championship here, and his ceiling is 2022/ /2023 10 wins a year— with a generational talent in JD5.

It is time for him to go. Next year will be a rebuild— why in the hell would we entrust him to build anything at this point?

Kelly does NOTHING to fire up his team. the only time he comes alive on the sideline is when he can chew players' asses. Otherwise, he is a dead fish.

He and Nuss have ZERO respect for one another. He chews Nuss's butt off and Nuss blows him off.

I wouldn't want to play for a guy like that either. Where is the fire and encouragement for his players? Vandy's coach was on fire, and Kelly stands there like a deer in the headlights looking for someone to blame for his shitty coaching. He should pay LSU 10 million a year for bullshitting his way through and wasting our time.
