It is totally out of control and needs to be reigned in. Yesterday was the first time in 30 years I legitimately felt unsafe and regretted bringing my family out there. Large roving bands of thugs walking around reeking of not even wearing LSU gameday gear or anything. Obviously there for nefarious reasons.

Loud obnoxious women basically screaming wearing little more than lingerie.. absolutely embarrassing. LSU should be ashamed

I was at a bar last night and they had the audio turned to the LSU game

It sounded like a lazy crowd and not loud at all

They make weird hand signals during picture taking and wear jeans that look like they were borrowed from a Cyndi Lauper music video. They also drive shitty chargers with cherry bombs.

My wife had to walk from our tailgate(amphitheater )right before the game to her car to go home which was parked at the ag center(old basketball). I went to game with older son and friends . When i got home she said that is was scary as shite and our kids will not be attending lsu. Something has changed

Have not been to a game in probably 6 years. We brought our
kids to their first game vs LaTech and I was shocked at the amount of women wearing next to nothing and then people selling vulgar shirts walking right by kids yelling out what was on the shirt.
I know some things are expected in the stadium during the game but the level of trash was unexpected.
Very different experience than what I knew it to be growing up.

It’s an uncomfortable conversation but it is what it is, there is no reason I should have several campus shooting notifications coming to my phone on homecoming weekend.

It’s also the issue of fixing it which leads to “profiling” in the deep south, it’s a pickle to be in.

You’re funny. The majority of the problem kids are not students. The campus is wide open on gameday and that means you get what you get. LSU will have to charge admission to be on campus grounds to really put a dent in it, and we all know that won’t happen. The truth is very inconvenient many different ways in this entire scenario LSU has on its hands. This isn’t a simple black/white debate anymore. It’s decent people vs non-decent people. Nobody is perfect and we all make mistakes, but safety should be paramount when dealing with 100k + people crammed into a tight space. It might get worse before it gets better, unfortunately.
