Anyone have any tips on searching congress.gov for the text of different bills the swamp rats are voting on ? Maybe there is another place to find the text of bills that makes it easier to find what your looking for ? I've found some using the congress.gov website but it's hit or miss finding what I'm looking for.

Is there a specific bill you are looking for? As in the #

The bill # would be pretty much what I'm looking for. Would like to look at some of the text of the spending bill that's all over the news now. Would also be for future reference.

Any place you know of that lists bills in a way that's human readable ? I've tried the search function on congress.gov with less than optimal results.

thanks

You will probably have to put in a bunch of search terms like the topic of the bill, the year and/or maybe the session, if you know who introduced it, which chamber it started in. If you know some of that, you should be able to get the # and finding the text is easy after that.
