Has BK ever been a position coach...anywhere?

or is he just a GM that hires coaches and lets them coach their position. I don't necessarily dislike that approach when it works, but when the position coaches are lost, like at least two or three of LSU's are, the GM, BK has to be able to identify that problem and fix it or remove it. I don't see BK doing anything and it appears because he doesn't know enough about how to fix anything or he doesn't want his name associated to a group that is unfixable.
