I know the famous saying on TD is "LSU backup is always the best QB". It's legit this time

LSU is the only Power 4 team yet to score over 20 points on another Power 4 team.

-17 pts on Clemson
-13 offensive pts on Florida
-19 pts on Ole Miss (who let up 520 yards to Arkansas whereas LSU had 257 yards) LSU put up under 1/2 the offensive yards that Arkansas put up on Ole Miss. Kentucky and Zach Calzada put up over 100 more yards on Ole Miss than LSU did.

It couldn't get worse swapping QBs. MVB performed better as a true freshman in an All-SEC schedule where 6 of the 8 games he started were vs Top 20 teams. His first 2 starts were road games agianst Top 5 teams. His stats vs SEC teams as a true freshman were better than Underwoods on OU and Nebraska. To those saying Fall Camp, he was playing with 2nd string OL, 2nd string WR, 2nd string RB vs 1st team Defense. Any QB would struggle placed on 2nd string LSU offense vs 1st string Defense.

MVB averaged 7.4 ypa in an all SEC slate. Nuss has averaged 6.0 ypa against Power 4 teams.

I said on other posts, I would rather try MVB out, and it not go well, then switch back to Nuss, rather than never try at all and be okay with 17 offensive points per game. I'd be okay with that. Honestly. But you have to change something up to get a damn spark.

Lastly, HE'S FREAKY DEEKY DUTCH

Wrong. Sloan is the problem. Let the slinger sling it. The backup qb is always the "best" player on the team.

were going to just have to accept not running the ball and throw it over the middle which is the only way we've been moving the ball ..when they back off the receivers just do bubble screens and let that be our running game...why havent we ran a screen pass to Harlem berry yet, thats another thing that we could do instead of trying to run the ball.

gotta figure something out during the bye week because everything we hoped would happen is still possible .just gotta get over 300 yards a game and be good in the redzone .

you dont want to go to van Buren. we have a. guy thats perfectly capable of getting it done. we just have to figure out what the issue is
