Heading to the Ozarks next June for a week. Anyone ever been? Must see's/do's. Also looking for a cabin/house on the lake for about 5-6 adults with 4-5 kids. Not wanting to stay in a condo.

Going for the Youth World Series?

We went last year and our families stayed at Old Kinderhook Resort. Mix of cabins and big houses on a golf course. Few dads played golf one day. The clubhouse accommodated our large groups for the LSU World Series games which was nice. We enjoyed it.

Activities were sort of limited for the kids other than the lake. One day we rented a few party barges and a bowrider for a day of tubing. Another day we played some mini golf and went to Bridal Cave.

There was a waterpark too I believe but it didn't look very big.

My dad lives very close to there, just outside Camdenton on the Lake.

Camdenton around the lake should have cabins and all of that with the lake close by. My dad likes RJ's in Camdenton for breakfast.

If the only stuff you can find is around/on the lake and if youre going to Maxk's Creek often, I'd look at the condos and houses going up north on 5 toward Sunrise Beach vs out east on 54 to Osage Beach. My dad lives up by Sunrise Beach and there are usually places available up there.

Osage Beach is the "touristy" part and usually more expensive and more traffic if you're trying to commute to Mack's Creek. I went by those ball fields heading through Buffalo, MO headed to the Lake. Nice looking fields.

I guess if you wqnt a touristy location, then Osage Beach would work but it does get traffic that way on the strip.
