Passing Targets to RBs

Our offense seems to be lacking one of the biggest advantages we have.

Other than screens, I haven’t seen any targets to running backs out of the backfield. Choice routes, angle routes, etc.

Between Durham, Johnson, and Berry, we have 3 guys that should be mismatches over linebackers and safeties in the receiving game.

Especially in a game like Florida where it feels we are playing to avoid the pass rush. These are all ideal quick hitting passes.

I’m not saying they are Kamara or Mccaffery, but we should be utilizing them more similarly.

This also goes forThomas when he’s in backfield.

yeah I thought we would do more of that,
we're doing similar stuff ,just with Aaron anderson and xavion and occasionally nic anderson. im ready to see him be our cj daniels from last year .

I dont know that berry is ready for any choice routes. it takes a level o trust from the qb and coaches for that to work.

You have to throw the ball further than 5 yards past the line of scrimmage to set up passes out of the backfield. Otherwise the results will be the same as what we get running the ball.
