I think we can all agree the offense is flawed at every level and needs to be improved. Nuss needs to play better the line needs to open running lanes better and the coaches need to do a better job with the overall scheme and playcalling. Running backs need to run correct routes and receivers need to fut down drops etc.

I think we have a national title type team with our elite defense but unless the offense gets better I see us going 9-3/10-2 and falling short in the playoffs.

What are the biggest issues on offense in order? Sloan, Offensive line lack of ability to run block/scheme with Brad Davis, or Nuss?

I’d say it’s mainly the offensive line run blocking first and foremost. They averaged 2ypc before the Durham run at the end of the game when it was out of reach. No NC team struggles to run that much. It’s why ppl like pate picked us to go 8-4 this year. Nuss wasn’t why they picked us to go 8-4. Lack of run game was.

Nuss is good enough to win with. He obviously needs to be better than yesterday; however, he never was a top 5 pick like some in the media suggested and he is certainly not good enough to do it all without run support. My vote is Brad Davis/run scheme.

Sloan is horrible also. in his defense though he actually called a very good game vs Clemson. If you go back and watch the replay, you’ll realize he schemed around flaws on the offensive line and played to our strengths.

We all agree it needs to be better. The easier answer might be nuss because I have more faith in him producing than the run game. But to me the main issue is the run scheme as usual.

The fans and media are the biggest offensive issue. They are spoiled and I am glad the coach called us out
