Something timed that keeps it clean and dry? Is the perfect feeder out there? I’m making an effort to stay out of the woods until season starts

Get a covered trough feeder; anything that dumps to ground uncovered runs risk of mold forming up / hog shenanigans.

Does anyone have experience with this one? Looks like a well built feeder that checks all the boxes

I live near Ruston. Easy to get ON Time parts and repairs. The one you are showing to me appears the trough would get wet from rain and then the wet rice bran would stop it from dispensing. You would need to be there after rains to clean out the trough

Good luck- On time had a small one that shook ever so often- it was junk, lasted maybe 2 weeks, never worked right.

Again Good luck.

If you got a good herd, pour it in the ground and hunt. When I use it at my place, I pour out about 20-25 lbs & it would be gone by end of the hunt.
