I am looking to take a date to a nice/romantic sushi place this valentine'day. I know about tsunami but it is not taking anymore reservations. Any suggestions?

I wouldn't really consider any of the sushi places in BR "romantic", but if you're looking for the best go with sushi yama, ichiban, or tokyo cafe. There was a whole thread on br sushi a day or two ago.
If you're set on sushi and want to keep it romantic for v-day, maybe you could buy some sashimi grade tuna and some salmon and do a little research on making your own, and do it together at home over some wine.

I just realized that V-Day 7 years ago was the first night I tried sushi. My girlfriend at the time loved it and I told her we'd go anywhere she wanted. I decided to take her to Kamado's. She turned me on to it and I have been hooked since. That turned out to be one of the better dinner dates I have ever had.

Repost?
Sakura Sushi on Essen has a couple's special for Valentine's day. Their sushi and hibachi rooms are great, I don't really dig their main dining rooms, but it would actually fit for this occasion. Their main rooms have white linen tablecloths, a fireplace. In that respect, it's a romantic place.

Does it like up to Karma Pollice Standards though?

You're looking for love in all the wrong places.
