We just changed or flight a day earlier to leave tomorrow because of the storm. We wanted to make sure we get out. Now we land in Charlotte and have a full day in Charlotte. Any recommendations for things to do or places to eat. We will have 6 adults..
TIA

National whitewater center is cool if you wanna be adventurous.

The food scene here is meh. Steak 48 is legit if you can get a table and have room on your credit card.

If it was me and five other adults in CLT for a day, I'd honestly just brewery hop around the South End

I dunno man I have had some really nice Italian in Charlotte. And for some reason really good pizza which was a surprise.

Never can get a table at Steak 48 but the Palm was really good.

Seems like a good balance of solid local places and nice, upscale chains.

Plenty of good food, no need for a chain steakhouse (albeit a very good chain steakhouse)

In no order, some fine dining, some more casual places that I like.

Supperland
Ever Andalo
Peppervine
The Crunkleton
Mariposa
Albertine
Calle Sol
Restaurant Constance
Yunta
Customshop
Flour Shop
Fin & Fino
Dilworth Tasting Room
Haberdish
Leluia Hall

Can definitely agree with this. Either start in LoSo with Old Meck/Sugar Creek/Protagonist and work north. Or start further north at Triple C/Suffolk Punch and work towards Wooden Robot/Hi Wire/Sycamore, etc. A bunch of others not mentioned.
