What was the xenomorph doing in that cocoon? The part where it hit Bjorn in the nose. I thought I knew my Alien lore pretty well. Just never seen a xeno in that manner.

I think you’re referring to the rapid maturation/transformation from the birth xeno to fully mature xeno, which hadn’t been shown in prior movies.

hmm interesting, never knew it was able to do that. I always thought the chestburster needed a host.
