Need some advice from more seasoned runners. I have a four mile run on Saturday and I’m looking for an area in BR that nice to run with plenty of shade - it’s hot out there.

Suggestions?

The lakes will be your best option for shade. Certain areas are wide open but a lot of shaded areas as well.

Varsity Sports has a 6 and 8 mile run this weekend if you are able to do that. It's through Capitol Heights/Mid City so it will be covered by trees almost the entire time.

Park at perkins road community park and run through walden and magnolia woods neighborhood. Early evening there is plenty of shade.
