Are we the 1st school to make the Finals 4 times after they went to best 2 of 3?

I know obviously Vandy, South Carolina, and Florida have all made it at least twice. I know I could have probably looked this up myself, but I’m tired and lazy. Somebody pick me up?

Thanks, y’all. I was pretty sure Vandy and Florida had been thrice, but wasn’t sure about the 4th. So:
Florida is 1/4
Vandy is 2/4
LSU is 2/3 with a chance to go 3/4, but will be no worse than 2/4. Pretty, pretty, pretty good.
I think it’s critical that we finish this off. There was a long time between #s 6 and 7. We let some programs gain ground. If we bring home #8 just 2 years after #7, it would re-establish us as the undisputed best program of the modern era. If we’re defining it as since the new format.
Which is huge. Championships breed championships. We won’t go on a ‘91-2000 run most likely, but we could rack a few more up in a relatively short span. The magic is real. If we have the right character dudes wearing them, the jerseys matter, those letter play. They’ll always think they’ll find a way. And so will their opponents. Really need to finish it, though.
